The Exchange Goes to Ethiopia & South Sudan!

By January 28, 2020One Comment

At The Exchange, nothing pleases us more than getting word that evangelism and discipleship materials are going to countries across the world. We were extremely blessed to get to know John Conrad with The Carpenter’s Project – an organization that facilities church planting in unevangelized people groups, predominantly Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist countries.

Ethiopia is the 6th fastest growing nation in the world, and through John’s contacts and the gifts of God’s people, The Exchange is being translated into Amharic – a language spoken by 21.6 million native speakers in Ethiopia, 4 million secondary speakers in Ethiopia and 3 million emigrants outside Ethiopia. The entire project of translating, proof reading, typesetting and printing will likely take up to 10 weeks. The Carpenter’s Project has enough gifts to make an initial printing of 1,000 copies.

Pictured above you will also see a gentleman named Berhanu with a copy of The Exchange. He lives and ministers in Ethiopia and inside and outside South Sudanese refugee camps. Brother Bernhau shared that he was impressed with the approach The Exchange uses of just letting the Scripture speak. He is convinced The Exchange will be an extremely effective tool for leading both Orthodox believers and Muslims to Christ.

Words cannot describe how thrilled The Exchange is to help believers reach their world with the Gospel. Please join us in praying that these two projects will result in the salvation of many souls!
