THE “LONGEST” DAY!

By July 12, 2012August 13th, 2019One Comment

I look back on Tuesday, July 10 as one of the longest days of my life! But lest you think I’m complaining, may I hasten to say it was a long blessed day. We woke at 3:00 am.m, left our Manila hotel at 4:00 a.m., drove 2 hours to arrive at 6:00 a.m. where young people in a high school were beginning their day. (Yes! 6:00 a.m.is when classes begin.) All day long we gave the Gospel in classrooms at several schools. One school had no openings, but the values teacher, recognizing the need of his students, allowed us to fill all of his classes that day. We ended the day around 5:30 with Tim David and Josh De La Rosa’s mass evangelism. Hundreds made decisions July 10. What a small sacrifice to make for the sake of the Gospel. After a delicious meal together at inasal chicken and rice, we arrived back at our hotel at 9:15 p.m. So many trust Christ each day. Yes, the harvest is ripe. BUT please remember that many trust Christ because many are sharing the Gospel. Wherever you are, remember – you too can see transforming decisions IF

One of many catching a nap while waiting for the next Gospel opportunity

you will give the Gospel without reserve.
