The faithful witness of friends reaps great eternal benefit. Joel Mosier,
from Grace Life in Cypress, Texas shares this young man’s story, written upon his baptism yesterday.
“I came to Jesus in a slow, personal and extremely spiritual way. My girlfriend asked me if I wanted to do Bible study classes with her and her pastor. I was a bit interested because I was a catholic and used to believe in many things that I am now a bit ashamed of. I used to pray to angles and even death, which was a bit scary, but honestly in all truthfulness I didn’t know what I really believed. They used to teach us that salvation is through works and faith, but one day while in Bible study I learned how the Bible said that salvation was found through faith alone and that Jesus was the only person we should pray to since He did the exchange for us and gave up His life to save ours. While I was learning all of this I felt a joy in my heart which was fulfilling and I felt my whole trust and faith was in the hands of God, and I know this day I believe that Jesus is our Savior and I should live my life the way God wants me to. And I came to this realization due to three people; Pastor Joel, Candy, and God Himself with his everlasting Word of the Bible.”
