Pastor Jim Oesterwind is fighting cancer. The Lord gave him the privilege of leading a couple (Alexander and Mary) to the Lord through his last hospitalization. Mary came to Christ through The Exchange Bible study and Alex after a sermon he preached. Both served as his nurses when he was in the hospital. Mary was very compassionate when he was very sick. After he got out of the hospital, they came to church. Dave Barba was helping fill the pulpit at the time and had taught the church how to use the Bible study. That’s how it all got started. Pastor went over to their home and Mary got saved during the first study.
