Recently Pastor Rick Cross asked a man who had been attending his church about his relationship with God. Rick writes, “He had a vibrant head knowledge but had never trusted Christ as Savior. He heard the Gospel with a hungry heart and then prayed a beautiful prayer of dependence on Christ.” These were the man’s words after receiving Christ, “Before our talk today if you would have asked me if I were going to heaven when I die, I would have replied, ‘I hope so.’  Now, I can say, “I am sure of it, because of my personal trust in Jesus Christ.” Praise God!
