āIām so busy!ā How many times have we heard this obstacle to evangelism. Recently a friend in PA took The Exchange seminar and was very burdened for 2 of her former co-workers. Erin did something about her burden. She took steps of faith. This took time. Just like the rest of us, Erin is busy! In addition to being a young wife and mother, she is a nurse and is active in her church.
Erin invited her former coworker for dinner, had a wonderful time chatting and then took the opportunity to go through the Gospel. In spite of being given New Age material to consider, advice to return to mass, and a close friend warning her that faith is for weak people, she recognizes that something is missing in her life. Join us in praying for this young woman. After sharing the Gospel, Erin went the extra mile by sending a card and a small gift. Note all the relational advances Erin made and consider how much time this took.
Erin also invited another former co-worker for dinner, and after enjoying time together, she invited her to do the Bible study. She writes, āTo my surprise (and conviction) she said āyes!ā
We trust this story inspires you as much as it does us. Weāre all busy. May we prioritize our lives & take time to build relationships & share our faith with those in our spheres of influence.
