Emily, from Carol Baptist church in Kansas, recently took The Exchange training. She writes about her experience trying to witness to coworker last week during a slow evening at work, “We didnt have any kids (childcare) for a whole hour before we clocked out, so it was just her and me in the room. We talked and talked. The entire time I was thinking to myself that I needed to ask her to do the Exchange with me. I was scared stiff. Our conversation topic allowed for many opportunities where I could have easily brought it up, but every time I saw a chance, I chickened out. Finally, just 5 minutes before closing, I knew it was now or never, so I asked her to do the Bible study with me. And she said yes! I was thrilled! 🙂 So we set a time right then.”
Emily and her friend did Lesson One today. She writes, “It was so neat to see her change in just the short 45 minutes we had together. She used to always tell me, “I like to think that God has sinned, even just once. Like maybe He stubbed His toe and said a swear word or something. I just think that would be funny.” But by the end of our lesson today she understood that that is not possible, because He is too Holy. It was so awesome to see that small transformation in her thinking, and also the conviction in her heart. She said she enjoyed the lesson, and wants to do it again next week. I cant wait to see how God will work in our next lesson!”
